Telford Training Company Launches Course for Microsoft Copilot

copilot

Learn how to use the revolutionary AI-powered assistant and avoid the risks of sharing sensitive information.

Imagine Training, a leading provider of IT and business skills courses, is proud to announce that it is the first company in Shropshire to offer a training course for Microsoft Copilot, the groundbreaking AI-powered assistant that works within Microsoft 365 to help users produce good quality work, faster and smarter.

Microsoft Copilot, developed by Microsoft and OpenAI, is a new tool that uses deep learning to help office workers in their everyday tasks. It can also learn from the employee’s own style, adapting to their preferences and needs.

However, Microsoft Copilot is not a magic solution that can replace human staff. It still requires careful supervision and review, and it may not always produce the best or accurate answers. Moreover, it may pose a risk of exposing sensitive or proprietary information that should be protected within the organisation, if staff are not trained to know when they are working within the safe environment of their own domain.

That is why Imagine Training has designed a comprehensive and practical course that will teach Business Owners, Managers and Directors how to use Microsoft Copilot effectively and safely, and how to leverage its benefits while avoiding its pitfalls. The course will cover the following topics:

  • An Introduction to Generative AI
  • The differences between Copilot, Copilot Pro and Copilot for Microsoft 365
  • AI Tools in Microsoft 365
  • Working with Prompts
  • Introduction to Using Microsoft Copilot where you will

Explore different use cases and scenarios where Copilot can help you in

  • Excel
  • Word
  • Outlook
  • PowerPoint
  • OneNote
  • SharePoint
  • Teams

The course will also demonstrate the major time-saving advantages of using Microsoft Copilot, such as:

  • Drafting emails with ease
  • Creating Word and PowerPoint documents quickly and professionally
  • Uncovering insights in your Excel data that allow you to make data-driven decisions with confidence

The course will be delivered in three-hour sessions, starting in March 2024. The sessions will be held online, with live interaction and feedback from the instructor.

The places are limited, so interested participants are advised to register as soon as possible.

“We are very excited to launch this course, as we believe that Microsoft Copilot is a game-changer for the software industry. It can help businesses gain a competitive edge and achieve their goals faster and easier. However, it also comes with some challenges and risks that need to be addressed and managed. That is why we have created this course, to help our clients learn how to use Microsoft Copilot in a smart and safe way, and to maximise its potential and value.” said Karen Turner, the Director of Imagine Training.

“We recommend that at least one decision-maker from every company should attend, so the business understands the risks and benefits this ground-breaking new assistant will bring.”
