Telford & Wrekin Council, are engaging with the public, businesses, and taxi & private hire drivers to support the refresh of the Council’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure Strategy.The updated strategy aims to accelerate the borough’s transition to electric vehicles by ensuring charging infrastructure is accessible, equitable, and aligned with local needs. The Council’s original EV Charging Infrastructure Strategy, published in 2022, set out a clear vision: to support electric vehicle users with accessible chargepoints across the borough, making EVs a viable option for residents, visitors, and businesses. Telford & Wrekin Council wish to explore the aspirations of people and businesses to adopt electric vehicles, and more clearly understand how the transition to zero emission vehicles can be supported.
We are asking businesses to complete a short survey that will capture your views and attitudes towards electric vehicles, and enable Telford & Wrekin Council to more clearly plan and deliver the infrastructure which people and businesses need.
