Delivered by the Council’s business support and inward investment team, Invest Telford, the refreshed funding programme builds on a strong track record of success. To date, the programme has awarded over £1.5 million to 268 business-led projects, helping local enterprises invest, innovate, and create new jobs.
Part funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), the extended programme will continue through to March 2026 and includes:
- Business Start Up Service –workshops and mentoring for aspiring entrepreneurs
- Business Growth Enabler – expert guidance for scaling businesses
- Business Energy Advice Service – support to reduce energy use and cut costs
- Export Grants Fund – up to £3,000 for export-related activity
- Innovate Telford – with delivery support from European Innovation. More details coming soon
- Large Grants Fund – £3,000 to £10,000 for business growth
- Small Grants Fund – up to £2,000 for capital investment
