Greenhous DAF has further strengthened its commitment to customers across the region by opening the doors to a brand-new site in Telford.
As one of the largest dealers in the DAF UK network, Greenhous DAF completed the purchase of the former Go Plant site on Stafford Park last year, with major refurbishment works welcoming a new repair and maintenance centre, and DAF and All Makes parts for trucks and trailers.
Over 60 guests including staff, representatives from DAF, customers, and suppliers attended the official opening on 9th May, with Greenhous DAF Dealer Principal John Turley giving a speech followed by the cutting of the ribbon by John McMenamin, DAF Trucks Dealer Development Director and Mike Seeley, Operations Manager.
In addition to a full site tour, guests were given a demo of the new Electric DAF XD 350, the zero-emission variant of the renowned DAF XD range which represents the next generation of performance, reduced emissions, and superior driver comfort.
“The opening of our new site in Telford marks a major milestone in our commitment to supporting local HGV operators with everything they need, all in one place – from servicing and parts to expert advice and support,” explained John Turley.
“We’ve invested over £3 million into transforming the Stafford Park site and moving from our former premises at Halesfield, which we acquired almost six years to the day. We’re hugely proud to bring people with us on this journey who have been with us from the start, which is testament to our approach.
“A huge thanks to everyone involved, including DAF, who are also celebrating 30 years of market leadership in the UK this year, our customers for their patience, our Greenhous Group Directors for their investment and continued support, and our building contractors, Amplepower Limited, who made sure everything went smoothly and on time. And of course, to our staff – we couldn’t have done it without them.”
John McMenamin, Dealer Development Director at DAF Trucks Ltd, added: “Congratulations to the team on this fantastic facility, which truly showcases the Greenhous way of delivering products in record time. All of those who have come from the old site will fully appreciate what they’ve moved into, and customers will be very well served from here – it’s a real stamp on the map.”
