Telford & Wrekin Council is giving businesses a helping hand during challenging financial times by launching an online support portal.
The council’s business support team, Enterprise Telford, is responding to the cost of living crisis by providing the platform which will help Telford and Wrekin businesses easily access the essential advice and guidance that is currently available.
Enterprise Telford has the resources, connections, and expertise to help businesses navigate these difficult times, including support that focuses on understanding energy use and reducing it where possible through fully funded schemes by the Council, like Cool Shropshire & Telford. .
The launch of the portal, which can be accessed via the Enterprise Telford website, ties in with Telford & Wrekin Council’s wider cost of living strategy which supports businesses and residents across the borough.
On the portal, businesses can benefit from accessing a range of support services all in one place including a section dedicated to operating costs and sustainability.
The team can also help businesses tap into grants that are still available through initiatives like the Business Growth Programme (depending on eligibility criteria) as well as specialist one to one support and assistance with hiring and retaining employees.
